Moshe Idel, Professor Emeritus at the Hebrew University and Senior Researcher at the Shalom Hartman Institute 

The writings and activity of the three main followers of the Besht will be explored, each with their perspective of their master’s thought, contribution to the dissemination of his teachings, and role in the creation and expansion of the movement. A reading of the famous parable of the Walls will describe the varying attitudes to the Besht’s thought and teachings.
