Silence Not: A Love Story
While the known world collapses around them during the Nazis' ascension in 1930s Hamburg, two people from dramatically different backgrounds make a connection. An idealistic young Jewish woman, a veteran of the Hamburg labor movement, joins forces with a rebellious Catholic craftsman against the rising tide of fascism, and finds herself falling in love. Based on the true story of Gisa Peiper and Paul Konopka, this is the world debut of Silence Not, a story of courage and of a love that thrives despite the gravest of dangers.
